Idaho Water Distribution Operator Certification: Program Overview
Licensing Structure
Idaho distribution system operators are certified through the same Board of Drinking Water and Wastewater Professionals / DOPL structure as water treatment operators, across four classes (Class I–IV), with a biennial renewal cycle effective October 2025.
Key Operational Themes
