Louisiana's water distribution systems are certified Class 1 through Class 4 by LDH's Bureau of Engineering Services, using the same population-graded framework (Class 1 under 1,000 people served, up to Class 4 above 25,000) and the same 2-year renewal cycle with 16 continuing education hours (staggered A-J even years, K-Z odd years) as Water Treatment and Water Production.
