Nevada Water Treatment Operator Certification
Nevada's drinking water operator certification program is administered by the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP), Bureau of Safe Drinking Water. Treatment operators are certified separately from Distribution operators, across four grades: T-1 (entry level) through T-4 (highest, covering the state's largest and most complex treatment facilities). Certifications renew on a 3-year cycle, with continuing education required for renewal.
