Virginia Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification
Virginia's wastewater operator certification is administered by the same body as Water Treatment — the Virginia Board for Waterworks & Wastewater Works Operators (under DPOR) — using a Class 1-4 ladder where, as with Water Treatment, Class 1 is the HIGHEST level, the reverse of most states' conventions. Certificates require continuing professional education (CPE) for renewal.
